“Error: Google reCAPTCHA verification failed. The response is no longer valid: either is too old or has been used previously.” Causes and solutions for the error message

Cause 1. The reCAPTCHA response is only valid for a limited time. If it takes too long to complete the reCAPTCHA and try to log in after completing it, the response may expire.
Solution – Make sure that it does not take too long to complete the reCAPTCHA and try to log in. If the time elapses, refresh the page to generate a new reCAPTCHA and try again.

Cause 2. The same reCAPTCHA response cannot be used more than once. This error may occur if you try to reuse a response previously generated through reCAPTCHA when logging in.
Solution – Reload the login page or refresh the reCAPTCHA when logging in, and use the newly generated response.

Cause 3. This error may also occur if the network status is unstable during login and the reCAPTCHA response cannot be transmitted to the server within the validity period.
Solution – Make sure you are using a stable network connection, and if the problem persists, check your network status.

Cause 4. Old data stored in the browser cache or cookies may interfere with the proper operation of reCAPTCHA.
Solution – Delete the cache and cookies in the browser you are using, such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari.

Cause 5. Extensions installed on your browser may interfere with the proper operation of reCAPTCHA.
Solution – Disable all extensions in your browser and check if reCAPTCHA works properly. Disable extensions in “Preferences” – “Extensions”.
